Our home is a modern, tidy house, centrally heated and double glazed with an open fire in the lounge. It has 5 bedrooms (I double 4 Singles), lounge, huge conservatory-dining room, two bathrooms, garage, front and back garden. Well equipped kitchen, electric cooker, grill and fan oven, microwave, kettle and all that is needed in a kitchen. There is a utility room with washing machine, drying lines inside and outside and a garage. The house is particularly suitable for families as we have 3 children aged 7,3 and 1 who are happy to lend their toys. As we are keen on walking and the outdoors there are plenty maps, walking books, and information about local places to visit. You are also welcome to borrow our bikes and if needed there is a reliable but not very new car for loan. We are a bilingual family englsh/swedish and can provide information about the area in both languages.
We are located in Dunblane on the boundary to the highlands just outside the historic city of Stirling, 1 hour train journey from Edinburgh and Glasgow. The house is particularily suitable for those wanting to enjoy the Scottish hills and countryside as well as enjoying the cities. We would also like to welcome families who will find the area great for kids The village has a cathedral, pubs, local shops and a train station. Stirling university is close by and in Stirling 10 minutes away you can find Stirling Castle, and plenty of good shops. Within 45 minutes you can get to the city of Dundee or to Loch Lomond and Perth with Scone Palace and other sites is only 30 minutes away as is.
We are a family of 5 with three young children, two boys and a girl. We are bilingual (English and Swedish) and speak swedish and english. We both have full time jobs, and enjoy travelling (mostly to Sweden).
