About our home

Our beautiful, historical lodge is set minutes from beach and town, with private access to the beach and outstanding panoramic views of the Solent.

The Isle of Wight is steeped in history and is a delightful holiday destination as well as ideal UK-EU base.

Glowing reviews on air b n b :)

We have a lovely property with unique features including a large stone archway with a stag and two lions on top! It has two double bedrooms, a country kitchen and large lounge with panoramic views of the Solent, double doors to open onto the garden. There is a double driveway.

We have wifi, dvd's etc. and a huge TV! There is a sun terrace accessible via a spiral staircase that shares the stunning view.

We have private access to the beach which is just a stones throw away.

Two double/twin bedrooms and a sofa bed in the spacious lounge if required.

The Isle of Wight is a fantastic, family oriented holiday Island with too many to mention outdoor and indoor activities! It is safe and friendly; with lots of shops and restaurants including Michelin starred venues.

The Island is surrounded by breathtaking coastline and has a wealth of outdoor sports available including wind surfing and sailing - the immensely popular 'Cowes Week' is held on the Island every summer, as well as various music (IOW Festival, Bestival, V Dubs, etc.) and culture (Arts, Vespa's, Garlic!) festivals.

The island is famous for it's fossils and is often referred to as the 'Dinosaur Isle' and there are walks and talks catered to these interests including a 'finders keepers' policy which the kids love!

The Island is also famous for it's many locally produced, home grown products available to explore, sample, and buy (e.g. lavender, wine, garlic, chilli, etc.)

We are a short walk/drive to the ferry(s) and only 2 hours from Central London.

Everything considered! The world is our Oyster and we are happy to share our lovely, happy home with fellow exchangers!

Please do get in touch. Particularly interested in LA in October/November onward :)
