About our home

Lovely Edwardian home that has been modernised but with the retention of many period details, such as entrance tiling & picture rails. From the welcoming entrance hall you enter an open plan living and dining room that flows through to French doors into a well maintained & comfortable garden with outdoor seating & large BBQ. Also with access to the garden is our modern & well-equipped kitchen with gas hob, washing machine & American-style fridge. On the second floor, there are 2 good sized double bedrooms, a smaller single (children's) bedroom & the main bathroom containing shower & bath. The top floor contains an expansive double bedroom reaching from the front to back of the house, second bathroom with shower & study.

The house is situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac with a large park at the end of the road containing playground, open space & a nature reserve. A short walk away is the local high street containing pubs, restaurants, butcher & baker (as well as local metro supermarket). There are also two lovely, leafy parks (Lammas & Walpole) that provide ample space for a jog, playing in the well-equipped children's playground or playing on the numerous tennis courts.

The house is only 3 minutes walk to Northfields Underground station (Piccadilly Line) so just 20 minutes to Heathrow (in one direction) or Central London (in the other). This means you can go direct to Harrods, Hyde Park, Green Park, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden & Leicester Square with changing trains. Local buses can take you down to Kew Gardens or RIchmond in comfortable time. The possibility to head out of day trips (or longer) around the UK is also well served given we are close to both M4 (The West) & M40 (The Midlands) motorways.

We really hope you can use our home as a base to experience the best of both worlds - a quiet, friendly & well served local setting with all the joys of London on the doorstep.
