About our home

Cameron Toll Gardens is within a few hundred yards walk from Cameron Toll Shopping Centre which has a Sainsbury’s supermarket, plus several high street chain outlets and a food court. Nearby Newington offers a wide range of local and speciality shopping. Approximately 1 mile to the south-west lies Straiton Retails Parks, which include IKEA, Costco, Sainsbury’s supermarket, Marks & Spencer Food, Boots and many more.

The beautiful Inch Park is within 300 yards whilst the Royal Commonwealth swimming pool adjoins the very extensive Holyrood Park, approximately 1 mile to the north. Newington offers The Queen’s Hall for a good programme of concerts with the Festival Theatre at Nicolson Street. Newington also offers a huge variety of bars, bistros and restaurants to suit every taste and budget.

There are good local authority schools in the surrounding area and all of Edinburgh’s private sector schools are easily accessible. Edinburgh University’s Kings Buildings Campus is close to hand with the Old Quad and George Square Campus’s a little further north. A short drive south also takes you to the Royal Infirmary.

A wide range of bus services take you to and from the City Centre, serving many suburbs, parts of Lothian and beyond. Car access to the City Centre is straightforward with a short drive west taking you to the Edinburgh City By-pass, connecting eastwards with the A1, A68 and A7 or westwards to the Airport, the M8, M9, M90 and Central Scottish Motorway Network.
