More about us

  1. Sam and I are married with two grown up children both of whom are now married themselves, one living in NZ and one here in Edinburgh. We have always been an outdoor family and activities we enjoy include walking swimming riding and skiing We also enjoy good food and wine not to mention the odd beer. We are now retired so have more time to travel and welcome the opportunity to explore other countries, including their architecture, in a more leisurely fashion.

Where is it?

We are situated in central Edinburgh only 5 minutes walk from the famous Princes Street with views of the castle from our windows. There is a large variety of places to eat and drink nearby to suit every palate and plenty to see and do, museums, art galleries and of course the shops. The country side is not far away for walking and Edinburgh is a great base for exploring further afield.
