“We had a lovely time exploring Edinburgh from Neil's home in Morningside! We found it to be a great area in terms of shops and cafes plus easy access to central Edinburgh by bus. Neil was a great host and provided good tips about family friendly things to do. Our favourite was the walk up Blackford Hill on a clear sunny day to enjoy the most amazing views of Edinburgh! We would definitely recommend Neil and family's home for those interested in visiting Edinburgh.”
Neil's reviewsAs a host (2)
“This is a gorgeous duplex, very near to the centre on a main bus route. We had a fantastic week seeing the sites and musuems of Edinburgh. It was the science festival while we were there which was brilliant. We enjoyed the zoo too. Neil and his family were great at advising us on the best places to go. This is the first car swap we have done too and it worked out very well. Our home and pets were beautifully cared for. Thank you. ”
Where is it?
Central Edinburgh is not a big place and our neighbourhood is a 15 minute bus ride from the centre. If you choose to stay local, there are a couple of big parks very close to the house and from one of them you can climb Blackford Hill (our 4 year old can climb it!) and get an amazing view of the whole city. Our suburb Morningside is a 10 minute walk or 5 minutes on the bus (bus stop across the road) and has loads of cafes and restaurants.
