About our home

Our family home is a typical Edwardian mid-terrace three storey house in a fairly quiet residential street. There are four bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with two singles and two with a single bed. There is one shower/bathroom, one shower room, and one small toilet room. There is a spacious kitchen/diner opening out on to the garden, allowing for socialising whilst cooking, and a cosy lounge. The garden is somewhere to relax or jump on the trampoline. There is a guaranteed parking space in front of the house, on the street.

Where is it?

Harrow is suburb of London, in zone 5 on the public transport map. Harrow is "the safest borough in London", very multi cultural and full of families. We are a 13 minute walk or five minute taxi journey to Harrow & Wealdstone station (trains to London Euston in 13 minutes, tube to London Paddington in 30 minutes, London Gatwick in 90 minutes), and 15 minute walk or 5 minute taxi to Harrow on the Hill station (also on the tube network, Oxford Street in 20 minutes). We are a 40 minute taxi journey from London Heathrow. Harrow has a substantial high street shopping centre which is 15 minutes walk from the house, through the local park. The park is just 5 minutes from the house and an important hub for the community, somewhere to walk the dog, use the gym equipment, let kids play in the play area, or just sit on a bench and watch the world go by. The prestigious Harrow school is on the hill in Harrow with the history and beautiful buildings that goes with it, and nice pubs/restaurants. Harrow museum is just 10 minutes walk from the house, containing a tithe barn, a moat house, granary and other buildings, with lovely modern café.
