About our home

Our lovely family home is right in the centre of the cosmopolitan city of Brighton (known as London by the sea). You can walk to famous Laines with it's shops and restaurants or to the sea front in 15 minutes. We are also very close to the station where you can catch a train to central London that only takes 47 minutes, or drive for 10 minutes and find yourself on the stunning South Downs.

There are 4 bedrooms in the main house - a kingsize in the master, 2 further doubles and a single, plus an ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom, a family bathroom, separate shower and downstairs toilet. Downstairs we have kitchen, sitting room, dining room, study and toilet.

We have an unusually large garden for central Brighton with trampoline, swings & a very relaxing hottub. In our garden is also a beautiful cabin with mezzanine sleeping area, fully working bathroom, electricity and woodburning stove in the sitting room.

More about us

  1. We are a family of five, Jamie & Araminta (parents), Oscar (18), Violet (14), Edith (9)

  2. We are both freelance - Jamie works in television and I am a novelist. We love music, food & seeing new places & our home is a cosy, comfortable but also indulgent space.

  3. We are looking to swap with a home in New York this October. We are a little flexible on dates, but only by a few days. Our children are well behaved & we will take good care of your home.
