About our home

Our favourite destinations... CENTRAL LONDON, CAMBRIDGE, BRISTOL or EDINBURGH or somewhere sunny in Europe!!!

Our home is a beautiful grade 2 listed Georgian house in the residential area of Chester called Handbridge. You can take a stroll from the house over the old Dee bridge into the Roman town of Chester and be there within 10 minutes. No need to get the car out, no parking problems, no hassle. There are shops nearby and a park for children with a lovely play area.

The house has 2 big sitting rooms and a brand new kitchen diner. Woodblock flooring throughout the downstairs and a wood burner in the main sitting room. There is a downstairs loo and upstairs a brand new family bathroom and separate shower room. There are 3 double bedrooms available each with a king-size bed, one with its own sink. (There are 2 more bedrooms which are currently being redecorated and not in use)..

Fast broadband throughout the house, tv with freeview, netflix, youtube and all TV apps and a projector.

Comfortable, spacious and relaxed, the house is equally suitable for a family or adults.
Big garden at the back and masses of parking.

Chester is a roman town with plenty of history to explore... the roman walls to walk around, the race course, the famous Chester rows and lots of lovely old pubs and coffee shops to linger in. For the kids there is Dewa Roman Experience just up the road or take the car for a short trip to the famous Chester Zoo or Blue Planet Aquarium. Why not see a film or play at Storyhouse our new arts centre opened recently by the Queen and Megan Markle. We are 2 hours from Euston by direct train to Chester so a great escape from the hustle and bustle of London. Described by the Guardian in December 2018 as 'Quality Street' Chester is well worth a visit.

We love to have guests from New Zealand and Australia and other far flung locations who would like to stay here on a points only basis for about a week. We are interested in points only or direct swops for all other locations including Europe and the UK (Central London, Bristol, Cambridge, Edinburgh are our favourites).

Just send us a message... we are not tied down by work or children so can be very flexible and are looking forward to hearing from you - so send a message today!

WE ASK FOR A MINIMUM OF 3 NIGHTS STAY AT OUR HOME... Cleaning fee - 100 points per stay
