About our home

My compact flat is located in city centre (Tollcross) of Edinburgh, perfect for sightseeing.

The building is a traditional Victorian tenement, listed Grade C, designed by one of the most famous Scottish architects, Sir R. Rowand Anderson (whose works include National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh).

The flat has:
- Two bed rooms - one double bedroom (small room) and one twin room (single bed with underbed)
- Kitchen/living room with large windows
- Shower room with a toilet

- Kitchen is fully equipped, with a cooker (no oven), toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine
- There is a hair dryer, iron and ironing board

Other information:
- Ground floor
- Non-smoking flat, no pet
- Ideal for 1-3 people

This is my main home, but a non-simultaneous exchange is possible.

More about us

  1. Hello. We are a couple with a 10-year-old child (usually behaves well). I am an admin and my husband is an English tutor. We have fallen in love with magical Edinburgh and have lived here about 20 years. We love travelling, and we have done a successful exchange in 2017 (we have had a break from exchange since then, but just decided to come back in November 2019).

  2. Our compact flat is in city centre of Edinburgh, so very convenient for sightseeing. We can only travel during school holidays, but a non-simultaneous exchange is possible, so you can come early or later if you like.

  3. If you have a home very accessible by public transport in Europe (sorry we can't drive, and difficult to travel far due to budget), and are interested, please feel free to contact me. We will use your home like ours carefully with respect. Thank you.
