Our home in the Cotswolds of south west England, is beautiful, recently renovated, light, contemporary, clean and welcoming. The large kitchen - dining room is particularly stunning with designer lighting and original artworks and views through a large picture window to the enclosed garden. Bedrooms are all double with one having an en-suite and another a sitting area and sleeping platform reached via a spiral staircase.
The garden is flat, pretty and private. We have an outdoor table tennis table.
We are a family of three; John runs a travel company organising activity holidays for small groups, Rachel is an Alexander Technique teacher and trainer working in clinics with people with neck and back problems. Arran our son is 16. We have a delightful small lurcher dog called Coco.
We enjoy exploring new places and travelling, John loves sailing, walking and photography. Rachel enjoys art and creativity.
We have a lovely home to swap and are looking forward to finding somewhere for us during Arran's summer holidays. Access to bikes/water and activities suitable for teenagers are essential!
Frampton on Severn is a unique jewel of a village set along the banks of the River Severn. It has quaint Elizabethan (16th Century) thatched cottages,timber-framed houses, a manor house and the longest village green in England.
Our house overlooks the canal and is a short walk to the River Severn, with its own wildfowl and wetlands. There are 2 good pubs, a village shop, churches and a lovely fish restaurant. Within 25 minutes drive you can reach Cheltenham or Stroud or Bristol for shopping and culture. London is a 2 hour drive away and Bath about an hour.
We have a range of bicycles, canoes and kayaks to use.
