About our home

An old coach house to Freshford Manor, converted in the 50's and has been lovingly restored back to life with a very vintage feel - features including parquet flooring, roll top bath, cosy stove and fireplace. It has a huge garden in one of the most sought after villages in Bath area.
We are fully equipped for children with large chests of toys to be played with at free will.
The train station is a mere 5 minutes walk giving you access to Bath (10mins away), Bristol (40mins), London (90mins), Brighton (3hrs) and beyond. There is barely a sound at night, a local village pub and shop and many beautiful walks by the river yet just a short taxi/train journey away there is the bustling city of Bath. A perfect country retreat yet close to city life.
Features include;
* Plasma screen tv & sound system
* Wifi
* Double oven, large fridge & freezer + all kitchen equipment
* Large double bed with rolltop bath in bedroom
* Single bed in second bedroom
* Cot/Daybed in third bedroom - although we can swap for a sofa bed if need more space

Where is it?

Buzzy restaurants
15mins from Bath with too many wonderful restaurants - Jamie Oliver's Italian, The Firehouse, The White Hart to name a few. Plus I can recommend many delicious country pubs too.
Cool bars
Sub 13 for a fantastic cocktail menu
Cozy cafés
Colonna & Smalls coffee house - inspired by their trip to Australia there is a choice of 3 blends and many extraction methods to choose from
Retail therapy
Bath has fantastic shopping attracting tourists from around the world - independent boutiques and a major shopping centre at the bottom of town
Bit of culture
Bath has the most free museums in one city in the whole of the UK apparently. For theatre goers we have The Theatre Royal & The Egg - brilliant for kids
Walks in the park
From the house there are superb walks to Iford Manor or Farleigh Hungerford Castle. Of course there are all the Bath parks too.
Spot of exercise
Plenty of lovely walks & running paths. Local tennis club. Health spa in the village too.
