About our home

Hi - our house is located in the heart of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park ( in a small village called Gartmore - the house itself is full of character with a big garden. There are 3 bedrooms, a main bedroom with a double bed and two other bedrooms, one with another double bed and the other with a single bed. Downstairs there is large playroom with a double sofa bed (it's own private room), living room with a wood fuel burner and a large kitchen diner. The kitchen diner opens out onto outside decking with spectacular views out to the mountains. There are 2 bathrooms, both with showers (one with bath as well) - outside there is a large garden with extensive views over the hills, with plenty of space for bbqs...

Where is it?

We live in a conservation village in the National Park - from the house there are lovely walks and the beautiful Loch Ard forest - there's a shop and a pub in the village and a wonderful community atmosphere - the next village is Aberfoyle which has a bigger shop and a few pubs. All around there's lots of forest and lochs and plenty to do if you enjoy the outdoors from boat trips on Loch Katrine and Loch Lomond to Go Ape in the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Scotland's two largest cities Glasgow and Edinburgh are only 30 mins and one hour away respectively. Close by for golf fanatics are Gleneagles, St. Andrews and Troon. Further away, a must to see are the inner and out Hebrides where whiskey meets wildlife meets water:
