Kelvingrove Park is 4 minutes walk from our house. As is the Kelvin River walkway (good for cycling). Or our street has its own private park with key.

Open-air fitness in the park? Run or cycle on the many parksways and cycle paths? Or swim or work out at dozens og gyms (Glasgow hosts Commonwealth Games 2014).
Day tripping
Scottish Highlands? Edinburgh Festival? Scottish Borders? Or fly to Ireland or London in less than an hour. Our Mallorca holiday home is less than 3 hours.
