About our home

Our house is a beautiful historic old coastguard cottage in a tucked away oasis right in the middle of St Agnes. It is quiet and peaceful but so close to everything in the village. We have a large front garden which backs onto woods and an enclosed rear garden.
We have a large kitchen/diner/living room with a logburner and a large living room with two sofas, TV, electric piano and logburner. Upstairs there are three good sized bedrooms, one is a double, one twin, and one with a high cabin bed with pullout bed underneath. We have another double bedroom but we would usually use this for storage, but if you would need the extra bedroom please make an enquiry. There is also a bathroom, and separate toilet. We do not have central heating, but an electric rayburn, logburns and electric radiators. From the front of the house there is a view of the small woodland; in the winter we can glimpse a triangle of blue sea down valley between the trees, in the summer the trees are too thick.
We have three children and our house is homely and child friendly with plenty to play with. In the front garden we have an awesome new playhouse and trampoline. We have a relaxed style and do not do matching crockery! As the house is listed it has beautiful traditional features throughout with wooden floors, original sash windows and fireplaces. We love antique and quirky things and all things musical. We love our house, gardens and village and it would be a great place for a family to stay to explore.
We often travel to London to see family and are especially interested in classic swaps to London for weekends and half terms. We are also keen to see the UK and travel abroad so are open to suggestions. We are currently looking for a swap to London for the weekend of the 7th and 8th of May 2022. We are also looking for a points swap for August 2022 for somewhere hot.

Where is it?

Our house is down a quiet private lane, right in the centre of St Agnes village, with two lovely neighbours. It is a 15 minute walk from Trevaunance Cove, a sheltered bay good for surfing and swimming. St Agnes is a beautiful, thriving, relaxed and fun village. There are five pubs, several restaurants and cafes selling tasty food, independent shops and galleries and a good fish and chip shop, and playgrounds. These are all within a few minutes walk, yet the house is lovely and quiet.
