About our home

Our lovely Georgian home was built in 1750 and is set in about an acre of land. It is in the heart of the village so perfectly placed for the pub and the village shop. The space totals about 3,500 sq ft with 6 bedrooms sleeping 11 people in total, 3 ensuite bathrooms and 2 other family bathrooms. There is a large kitchen diner with attached garden room leading out onto a real suntrap of a patio. Two of the double rooms and a bathroom are located at the back of the house almost like an annexe. We are updating the house as we go so some rooms have been recently decorated but some are yet to be done. We have 3 children so there are plenty of children's toys to play with and DVD's to watch. Outside we have a climbing frame, trampoline, football goal and plenty of space for throwing/catching games and of course the obligatory BBQ

More about us

  1. We are a family of 5; Emma, Stuart and 3 boys aged 12, 10 and 7. Unexpectedly looking for a summer holiday swap in the UK this year! Open to offers.

  2. Stu works as a Commercial Director and Emma is a Women's Health physiotherapist in private practice. We all enjoy sport; the boys practice Taekwondo, Emma is a CrossFitter and Stuart plays football. We generally enjoy holidays that have a mix of culture and relaxation whether that be a pool, beach or river.

  3. We love having adventures together and as such are keen to explore within the UK and abroad. We moved to Yorkshire after living in London for many years and don't regret it one bit!
