About our home

Gravesend is a historic town on the river thames (and where princess Pocahontas is buried in a local churchyard) Our house was built about 1890 and has many original features, high ceilings and large sash windows. We are a leisurely four minute walk from railway station and town centre which has about thirty restaurants including English, Indian, Chinese and Italian. The town has many pubs to suit all tastes, from cosy ,quiet ,historic, riverside, to family pubs with restaurant, to disco bar and clubs. Train station, whisks you to london in under twenty minutes, coastbound,to historic Rochester, Canterbury and Broadstairs, Paris in two hours on Eurostar train.
