About our home

A rural family home set in 3/4 acre of garden. Our house has been fully renovated in 2010 with a new extension. We can offer secluded country living with beautiful views across the open countryside.

More about us

  1. We have lived in Cornwall for 10ys, Steve having grown up in the region. We are both professional workers and own our own local Veterinary Surgery.

We now have two children Melissa 5yrs and Myles 3yrs. Being animal lovers, we also have a dog Braxton a 'Fox Labrador' and 4 cats (the dog or cats do not have to be included in the exchange!).

We are respectful of other and their property and hope that we can complete many successful home exchanges.

We hope that everyone enjoys our cottage as much as we do!

Neighbourhood

The house is situated up a country lane, surrounded by footpaths and bridleways. This is a lovely area where children can play and explore without the worry of traffic and roads.

We love the local area and spend many a happy day over the dunes and along the beach, come rain or shine. The area has fantastic places to visit and enjoy whether your looking for galleries or gourmet food. The coastline has a vast number of surprises, magical walks with little idyllic bays and villages to explore.

If you want to get out of the kitchen and eat out, St Ives is full of great restaurants and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen is not far away at Watergate Bay (one of our favorite beaches/hotels/restaurants). A trip slightly further north brings you to Padstow and Rick Stein's fish restaurant.
