About our home

Very spacious cottage lies under Shunner Fell in the village of Hardrawv, meaning "Shepherd Dwelling" and famous for the longest single drop waterfall in England. Sheepdog demos nearby and practises in the back field which you can watch from the kitchen window whilst sitting at the rayburn toasting your teacake ! All new/modern appliances. 1x family bedroom with orginal cast iron fireplace- 1 double, 1 single bed - 1 single room - 1 superkingsize bed or twin beds and z-bed if reqd with ensuite shower room and separate bathroom. Dining room for 10 places, sitting room with comfy sofas, tv, dvd. Garden & paddock also pub serving Real Ale, church, tearoom, artist for felt making pictures and at within 1.5 miles the Wallace & Gromit Wensleydale Cheese Factory. Lots of walks - Pennine Way, the Buttertubs - where they used to lower the butter into these limestone potholes to keep cool or climb 'Lovely Seat'. Castle Bolton where Mary Queen of Scots was once imprisoned or fish in Lake Semmerwater. Something for everyone.
