About our home

Our semi detached victorian house is on a popular central street in Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire. It offers the perfect location to explore London and enjoy the beautiful countryside of the Chilterns, Home Counties and Oxfordshire. Henley On Thames, famous for its rowing regatta and home to an annual music festival that takes place on the banks of the river. We are 5 minutes walk to the train station and a fast train will get you into Paddington in 55 minutes, to explore everything the Capital has to offer, whilst the beautiful countryside on the doorstep offers an abundance of walks and cosy country pubs ( with food awards) to enjoy. It’s a great spot if you like messing about on the river and famous spires of Oxford are a 45 minute drive away. If you are coming in the summer and have boat experience we have a boat and paddle board for use on the river. We are a 5 minute walk to the centre of Henley where you will find a cute local cinema, theatre, lots of restaurants. You can live both the city life and the very best of country life and make the drive to the beaches of the south coast in 2 hours of home ! Legoland is half an hour away, bigger theme parks an hour. Beautiful Bath can be a day visit ..... the choices are endless !

The house is set over three floors with the ground floor optionally open plan. We have a log burner for those winter months, but with the underfloor heating on it can be toasty enough!

We will supply you with a comprehensive booklet before you arrive. This will explain how the house works, where to go, what to do, where to eat and many other points of interest that you might like to know about.

There is cleaner that comes in once a week for 2 hours and a gardener that comes in once a week.
