Beautiful rural location in England's favourite market town (as voted Country life 2006). Loft converted bungalow with lots of space including upstairs game room, 2 living areas, bathrooms, bedrooms and a new kitchen. Large front and rear gardens private garden with a stream (approximately 1/2 an acre of land). Also included is sattelite television.
We are John and Alison Logan we have 3 children John(15), Helen (13), and Lisa (18). We would like to re-visit Florida as our children have yet to visit, ourselves having visited some 23 years ago. Somewhere close to the theme parks woud be desirable. We are professional couple, running our own business. Some e-mail exchange cam be used to advise exchangers on desirable places to visit in the Costa Blanca area of Spain and vice versa.
Hexham is a historic market town with a 1200 year old abbey approximately 20 miles away from the historic city and contender for the European capital of culture 2008, Newcastle-upon-Tyne seviced by Newcastle international Airport and mainline intercity railway station. Around 2 hour drive to Scottish capital city of Edinburgh, historic city of York with it's spectacular cathedral and around 1 and a half hours away from England's most beautiful area 'The Lake Disrtict'. It's also 40 mins away from historic Durham with it's unique gothic cathedral. Europe's largest out-of-town shopping mall 'The Metro Centre' is a 20 minute drive away. We are also a short driving distance from some of the most spectacular coastline in the country with more castles than any other area in the country including the 'cradle of christianity', the holy island of Lindisfarne. Also the world heritage site of Hadrian's Wall, built over 2000 years ago by the Roman emperor, Hadrian. This is the most northern outpost of the ancient Roman empire. This is aproximately 5 mins away.
