Moat barn is a converted barn some of which we are told dates back to the Eighteenth Century , set in the heart of beautiful Kent countryside. The former barn used to be a tea shop in the 1930s and has many exposed oak-beams, woodburners and Inglenook fireplace ideal for cosy nights in around the fire. The house , maybe because of its history has a very special atmosphere and makes a peaceful retreat from which to visit Kent and the surrounding counties. The house includes an ensuite leading from the main bedroom and a spa bath in the separate family bathroom which is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after a long hard day sightseeing..
.The garden is over 1 acre and has amazing views across the Kent countryside.
It is 1 mile from Tenterden which is the Jewel of the Weald and only 45 mins by train to London.
There are many historic and interesting places to visit Castles, National Trust properties;and the sea is only a 20min drive away.
