This is a cute and fabulous mezzanine apartment close to EVERYTHING! 5 minutes from the sea 7 minutes from Hove train station - 15 minutes from Brighton's main train station - easy for buses (All kinds of stores, restaurants and cool cafes + banks, groceries stores and all you could want!)
Brighton is fondly names 'London-on-Sea' because it has all the fun, culture and diversity of the city but all the freshness and lightness of a relaxed seaside town - sunny and lively in the summer - dramatic and invigorating in the winter. It is also 55 mins to London’s mainline stations by train. You will love all that it offers and feel strangely 'at home'!
I spent 3 years in NYC around a year ago and have an opportunity to go back and work there - However (Although I'm a London girl 'Born and Bred') I bought this little apartment and found that it was closer to NY than London in vibe and accessibility.
Do check out the pictures and see what you think!
I am also flexible on time (Though I do have around 15 months left on my visa and also have places to stay in UK should a keen swapper wisher to stay for longer) I also could arrange for other accommodation should you wish for a shorter period in the UK.
The apartment is a studio with a separate Mezzanine bedroom (Low ceiling in bedroom so do be aware of this!) it is on what you call the 1st floor and we actually call 'Raised Ground Floor'! and has enough room for a couple - there is also a sofa bed downstairs for guests (Equally this could be used for a short time for a couple with young-ish children who would adore the loft-style bedroom while their parents could use downstairs to sleep) Being only a few steps up from the pavement it would not be impossible if one party is disabled to access - a ramp could be provided but it would need to be put in place by a partner.
It has internet and phone line and is furnished for comfort and ease - should have pretty well all you need to run it as a home.
I also have family nearby should you need advice or help with anything. And someone who can come in and attend to general maintenance anything if needed.
I am looking for a sweet Manhattan home (Can be really little!) And would prefer below 30th Street though open to offers! This will be for me and (possibly) my boyfriend. We have both been home owners for years and have also rented property and been a 'Landlady/lords' renting two flats for many years; so we know all about caring for and looking after a home.
I look forward to hearing from you!
