3-story family house, 10 minutes’ walk to the seafront and Hove Lagoon. 2 minutes’ walk to a busy shopping street; 2 minutes' walk to a train station that can take you to London Victoria in 1 hour 10 mins. Family house with everything that you'd expect within. 4 bedrooms: one master bedroom with super king bed, two other bedrooms, both with double beds. Loft conversion in the attic with double sofabed with very good mattress, plus a cross trainer if you fancy a workout. Very large reception room with new flatscreen HD TV (not in photos here), Freeview (digital TV), DVD player (and lots of DVDs to watch for both adults and children); high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the house, laptops, stereo, upright piano. Bus stops at either end of the street – bus journey to the centre of all Brighton’s shopping takes about 15 minutes. Cycling into town (20 minutes' journey) is our preferred method of transport - it's free, the route is easy and flat, and there's a seafront cycle path most of the way into town, plus there's no parking charges when you get there. We have 2 lovely cats that will need to be fed and watered (they do their 'business' outside). email@example.com for more details - discover the fantastic city of Brighton and Hove: http://tourism.brighton.co.uk
Very calm, friendly neighbourhood (we have a Residents' Association and the neighbours look after each other), but just next to a shopping street. A short walk (10 minutes) to the pebble beach seafront and Hove Lagoon, which has a cafe, large playground, skateboard park and water sports courses. The centre of Brighton has designer and quirky and high street and vintage shops + great restaurants - Brighton is great fun. Pleasure pier for amusements and rides; great nightclubs. Horse riding stables about 15 minutes' drive away, castles and country pubs also nearby.
Professionals in our early fifties, working at BBC TV in London and IT in Brighton, with two boys. Mum speaks French and Spanish (although French is stronger); eldest son can speak, write and read Japanese to a decent standard (GCSE level at the moment; working on A level this year). Musical and artistic, we enjoy films, cycling, eating well. We love to travel as a family - in 2015 we need to focus on language learning for our eldest so are looking primarily at Spain, but will consider other destinations as well. We have a 2003 Volvo Estate V70 T5 Turbo will probably travel with us as far as France but an exchange might be considered otherwise.
We are restricted to UK school holidays for exchanges.
