“We are a family of five members and we spend 12 days in july feeling like in our home. The home is very comfortable in a really quite zone. The house is big, clean and with a nice garden to stay lunching and dinning and spending time relaxing. The family is very hospitable and they gave us a lot of instructions about the house and places to visit. The house is really near from London, Windsor, Oxford... and with nice connections by train. High Wycombe is a village very nice with a lot of services and a very big and nice park. The family spent the same days in our house of Spain and they were very respectful, clean and tidy. A marvelous family. Is for all this reasons that our exchange was fantastic and very very very recommendable.”

John's reviews
As a host (2)“We had our first Home Exchange in England this April. Flying there, also led to car exchange which went smoothly and saved a lot of troubles. The house - as children saw it - was great. It had a plentitude of toys to choose from, too easy to care for, friendly cats and - on top of it - the trampoline. On the parents’ side, the house was cozy, situated in really quiet neighborhood and had all the comfort one could need on a holiday. If you like to cook, the kitchen will not leave you cold. On one hand you can take wonderful long walks right from the house garden, on the other hand High Wycombe lies in the central England (as my geography says) and offers short ride to most of the famous places (Oxford, Windsor/Legoland, Cambridge…) and excellent connections to London by train which we used a lot. John is a guarantee that the exchange will go smoothly. A most pleasant first exchange. Thank you. Nina, Peter, Aja, Lan”

Neighbourhood
We are set in a great location for easy access to London but at the same time rural and quiet. Oxford, Windsor, Henley on Thames etc are not far. Great local shopping at the shopping mall in Wycombe. Our garden backs onto National Trust land which forms part of the estate of Benjamin Disraeli (The 19 Century British Prime Minister). His house and gardens are a lovely walk from the back of our house. From the top of the garden there are lovely open views all around. A great area if you like walking. Our road is a quiet cul-de-sac of 20 houses. We have really friendly and helpful neighbours. There is off street parking on our driveway plus we have an MPV for possible swap.
