Our home is in a very safe, family friendly development, with woodland walks near by. We are on the edge of Inverness, which is the capital of the Highlands. We got city status in 2000. It is approx 8 minute drive (2 1/2 miles) to the city centre and a 45 minute walk along leafy road and the river side to the city centre. Restaurant are in abundance in the city centre and the Highlands have a wide range of Golf Courses. Fort William and the Cairngorm National Park are within easy reach of Inverness (for a day trip) and the West Highlands. There is Eden Court Theatre which is very popular and on the river side. Golf Range is a 10 minute walk from house.Roller bowl a 5 minute walk. Inverness Aquadome is the public swimming pool with flumes and lazy river rides. Next to it is the Floral Hall and the Boating Pond, which is ideal for picnics and fun for children, with its small steam railway.
Our house is a ten minute drive from the village of Dores on the shores of Loch Ness. There is a delightful village Inn/Restaurant (Dores Inn) on the shore, which has a fantastic selection of foods. You never know you might even get a glimps of Nessie....
We will have a cleaner in before any swap and at the end of your stay x

We have 3 well behaved children 11, 12 and 15 years old and we would treat your house with love and respect as we would hope you would ours.
We have a small west Highland Terrier who is a year old, 2 rabbits in cage in garden and a hamster. We have no problem with putting the pets to friends, however a neighbour may have to clean the rabbits once a week and pop in to feed them...if this was a problem, we would come to an arrangement to move the friendly bunnies.
