About our home

We love living in Kenilworth, Warwickshire : close to many tourist spots - Stratford, Cotwolds, Georgian Leamington Spa, Oxford, Coventry and of course Kenilworth itself with Kenilworth Castle (made famous in Sir Walter Scott's novel).
Our house is in a quiet street yet only a few minutes drive to roads that link to all those lovely places that are on the English tourist trail.
Upstairs there is a king-size bed in the master bedroom and Martha's room has a small white child-size bed. There is also a bathroom with walk-in shower and separate bath and there is also a reading area. Downstairs there is another bedroom with a single bed and a pull out single underneath, full size and full height. We have a lounge with a woodburner stove for colder evenings and a separate dining room with a full size table seating 6. There is another shower room
downstairs. Our kitchen is equipped with an American-style fridge, a Rangemaster cooker with double oven, a dishwasher and a washing machine. We have an old school washing line outside for drying!
Our garden is a great size for running around, enjoying evening BBQs and having a dip in the small hot tub which is available in spring/summer weather. Also we have a summer house for the grown ups and a playhouse for younger visitors along with a sandpit and a patio table and 6 chairs for eating outside.
We love our neighbourhood : it is friendly and it is an easy walk to the park and also into town.
For swapping we are happy to look at short UK swaps and longer swaps abroad. We would love for people to come and explore this beautiful area and enjoy leafy Warwickshire whilst staying in our home.
