About our home

A lovely family home with large open plan family room adjoining dining and kitchen. The family end has patio doors onto the private garden and a living flame gas fire. Also has flat screen TV/DVD/Video and surround sound. Reclining 3 seater settee and 2 reclining leather arm chairs. The dining area has solid wood extending table to seat 8. Kitchen comes stocked wth appliances and all you will need. All of our own personal belongings have been removed for your convenience. The 4th bedroom is downstairs and could be a study if preferred. We also have a downstairs WC and seperate front lounge also with gas fire, TV, stereo, reclining leather settee and Parker Knoll reclining chair. Parking available for 3 cars on the drive. Recently re-decorated.

  1. We are currently on a house exchange which expires mid November 2012 and so we are looking for another home in the northern half of Canberra as our son has started school here. We are permanent residents of Australia and we are keen to continue with house exchange as we have found it to be a wonderful experience. Paul works as a OHSE for a private company and I own my own business and also teach. We do not have any pets and do not need a car. We are in constant contact with our exchange partners so you would be able to speak with them but also meet with us prior to the exchange.

Where is it?


Kidderminster is a suburb within 12 miles of Birmingham and approx 9 miles to the Cathedral city of Worcester. Our home is within walking distance of a number of parks and churches and also the town centre. You can also walk to the train station which has direct trains to Birmingham, London and the South. Birmingham International Airport is a 40 min drive. The town has a swimming pool, golf course, college, library, leisure centre, gym, cinema, theatre, river and canal and many little shops but also 2 shopping centres.
The town is quite historic and a number of streets have houses dating back to 1830.
