About our home

Our beautiful house is a third of a stunning grade II Listed Georgian Manor House once owned by Jane Austen's family. It has a large stunning south-facing garden and beautiful seating area in a Rose garden next to the heated outdoor pool which is open from May-September. There is plenty to do for the children including a huge trampoline, a swing and lots of areas for den making!
This family friendly house is extremely spacious and filled with original features including an AGA as well as an oven and fully equipped kitchen. There are two double bedrooms ( one ensuite) and two children's bedrooms, one with a twin bed available. Based near the historic towns of Henley-on-Thames (10 mins) and Marlow (12 mins) our beautiful red brick house is perfectly located a pretty rural location within easy striking distance of some of the UK's most interesting cities , London (40 mins) Oxford (1 hour) and Bath (11/2 hours). Closer to home, there is plenty to do for the whole family including renting a boat on the Thames in historic Henley, visiting the Queen's Castle in Windsor, fun and rides at Legoland as well as lots of historic houses and gardens to enjoy.
