About our home

A homely, spacious, smoke-free holiday home in its own large private garden, where there's parking for two or three cars. It's in a quiet spot far from traffic or artificial light, next to a small lake, in an undeveloped and rather eccentric corner of Norfolk on the edge of The Wash. Ideal for old-fashioned bucket and spade holidays, where children can run and play with far more freedom than many other places can offer. Lots of things to see and do in the area - but you would need a car to get around. As it's a holiday cottage we have our own website, www.the-patch.com which has plenty of details and photographs.

Features

More about us

  1. A couple in our 50s with three more or less grown-up children

  2. Both work from home - Tim is an architectural designer who has done all the main work on our holiday home. Jill is a part-time activities organiser in a nursing home, with strong creative tendencies.

  3. We're a down-to-earth, practical couple, not particularly sophisticated!
