About our home

Our home is a cosy victorian semi on the edge of Kingston Town Centre (c10mins walk), with easy access to London Waterloo and also Richmond. Trains from Surbiton provide access to Surrey and the rest of the west of the country. For those with a car its easy to get to the M25, out to Surrey and beyond and into London along the A3. Kingston is an ancient county town with excellent shopping (John Lewis), craft market and riverside bars and pubs. Extensively modernised about 6yrs ago, the house retains a number of period features (notably working fireplace) but all the normal modern conveniences (dishwasher etc). We have a small garden (with a terrace that seats 6 people). Two bathrooms in particular means no arguing of a morning...

More about us

  1. We're a couple with a young baby girl Isabelle. Mark works for the local council as a transport planner, but is not a train geek. Emma works for the London Legacy Development Company (looking after the Olympic Park). She's a bit more glamorous than Mark.

  2. We'd love to use this service to explore new and exciting areas within relatively easy reach of London - UK, Ireland, Northern Europe etc for one/two week breaks. We're open to when this may be but doing things last minute can be tricky with the little one...

  3. Our house is a lovely character semi 10min walk from historic Kingston town centre and 30mins from London. Its a great way to experience London like a local. We have two double bedrooms and also a double sofa bed in the lounge. As you'd expect we have cots etc for babies and the house is a safe as you can get it for the little ones!
