There is a family bathroom and another shower room.
Frances and I bought this house 12 years ago and have spent a lot of time and money!! modernising it. I am a retired dentist and as we are both keen on hillwalking the house is in a great position for this. We normally spend one week in every three here.
We have had several exchanges to South Africa which have been very successful for all concerned . The house is ideal for somebody to experience the beauty of Scotland and ideally situated for touring the highlands .. The weather in Scotland can be wet , which is why the landscape is so green . However equally you can get beautiful weather .Indeed most of the time you can get all weathers in the one day . If you are keen on the outdoors it is the perfect place .
The house is in a small village only 200 metres from the sea, very rural yet only 1 mile from shops and restaurants. The scenery is amazing with beautiful seascapes and views to the island of Skye. National Geographic have rated Skye the fourth best island in the world ! Seals and otters can be seen from the house. It is the perfect place to explore Skye and the Highlands. It is a hillwalkers paradise 50 Munros (hills over 3000 feet) within 1 hours drive of the house.
