About our home

Large chalet bungalow set in one acre on a hill in the heart of county down with stunning views over Mourne Mountains, Dromara Hills, Belfast Hills and Sperrin Mountains. Our home is on a one mile bridleway and nearest neighbours are 200 metres away offering peace and quiet to enjoy the panoramic views. There is lots to do in the area, with the following travel times by car: Bronte Homeland 15min, Belfast 20mins, Newcastle (seaside and the Mournes) 40mins and Dublin just over an hour.

The bridleway is popular with for people to walk their dogs and horses and provides many opportunities to see wildlife up close. Dogs are welcome at the house providing they are kept in pens provided. The one acre site and bridleway offer a handy place to exercise and toilet them and there are beaches, mountains and forests all within a short distance.

The house is full of character and recently refurbished with the only thing remaining to be done is the kitchen which is currently functional but old fashioned.

We have three children so there are lots of toys and there are swings and a slide in the garden.
