About our home

We are situated in stylish and cosmopolitan town, our house is a quaint 1920's, 3 bedroom detached house in a beautiful neighbourhood (with fantastic neighbours). Our house offers great Estuary views and is only a 5 min walk to the beach and main railway station, which goes straight in to to Central London and the right side of town for the Olympics.

Leigh on Sea is is a great place to take long refreshing walks along the sea and offers an immense selection of great restaurants and bars.

Essex is close enough to London, offers an excellent array of indoor and outdoor activities and is close to all major motorways for day trips/excursions and is close to a number of airports, especially for those wanting to escape for short and inexpensive trips to Europe.

Our house will offer you a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle but is only 45 mins to Central London ( 45 mins to Stratford - home of the Olympics).

We are also very close to many airports, which offer and array of inexpensive flights/trips to Scotland, Ireland and Europe.

Rural Essex

Essex is a largely rural county with small market towns, traditional villages and tiny hamlets linked by quiet country lanes. Undulating farmland is interspersed with small woodlands, the views interrupted by mighty oaks and ashes presided over by the hurrying skies.

The Essex countryside is a walking paradise, whether you want to cross the country from south-west to north-east using the well-known Essex Way or other smaller countryside trails or coastal walks. Country parks and open spaces can be found all over Essex and they offer a great variety of activities; choose from woodland trails, old historic parkland and even a modern working farm. Learn about the working countryside by visiting a vineyard or discover the secret life of insects at a nature reserve. Alternatively celebrate summer at a Hay Making Festival whilst sampling real Essex fare such as asparagus and "Little Scarlet" strawberries.

Cultural Essex

Essex is a great place to spend a great day out or a short break. There is so much to see and do whether you are with family or friends. The county's historic sites, the arts, literature, and museums all offer a fascinating insight to the richness of Essex's culture.

Essex is truly a county of contrasts. It is steeped in history and infused with unique historical and architectural treasures. The county's historic sites, the arts, literature and museums offer a fascinating insight to the richness of our culture.
Artists such as John Constable, Sir Alfred Munnings and Edward Bawden have always known about the county's uniqueness and beauty: Constable working his rustic idylls beneath those vast East Anglian skies, Munnings capturing his much loved equestrian world and Bawden creating copper engravings of the swirling countryside.
