More about us

  1. We are Garrie and Margaret, retired from our professional careers but undertake local community work with older people. We love travel, enjoy walking/hiking and spending time with family and grandchildren.
Garrie is chairperson at the local crown green bowling club. Margaret still plays some badminton.

We are very well travelled and have experienced 22 successful previous home-exchanges.
    Always reply to enquiries.

  2. We travel worldwide and opened minded to travel and home-exchange opportunities.
Our main preference is to visit the southern hemisphere in November or February & March. We can usually accommodate non-simultaneous exchanges as we appreciate our UK summer is usually more popular than a UK winter.
Always interested in exchanges to South Africa particularly those in a natural environment or overlooking water.
Also always enjoy France, (south of Paris) and prefer to be in or near a rural village.
Enjoy shorter breaks in UK but in more rural towns & villages rather than major cities

  3. We are a retired couple and enjoy time with grandchildren. Both keen hikers. and enjoy the garden. Garrie likes the bowling green and Margaret badminton.. Love independent travel with sea-drives into wilderness area.
