About our home

Our south-facing, open-plan home that overlooks the rolling hills of south Wales, is situated in the ancient conservation village of Llantrisant. It is 20 minutes from the capital city of Cardiff with its famous nightlife, half an hour from stunning beaches, and a short trip inland to the lakes and mountains of the Brecon Beacons National Park, and the Gower Peninsula. Our house sleeps 6, (four adults and two children). We have a family-size hot tub on the patio, a BBQ area in a 'secret garden' with its own pond, and a little play shed at the bottom of the terraced garden. Situated on a hill, historical Llantrisant has a friendly, artistic atmosphere. From our home, it's a pleasant walk through magical alleyways and cobblestone streets, past a medieval castle and churchyard, to the main square which is flanked by an arts centre, craft shops, restaurant and lovely pubs. There are several public footpaths to discover, that can take you along rivers, forests and hilltops. Or you might prefer the nearby leisure centre or retail park, all within easy walking distance. Our home would be ideal base for families who want to get together to explore south Wales and then come home and relax in the jacuzzi with a glass of wine and perfect views.
