About our home

We live in a 3 storey four bedroom family home. There is a bathroom on the 1st and 2nd Floors, plus a downstairs toilet on the ground floor. The ground floor is split level open plan. The sitting/TV has large comfortable sofa, plus separate chair, this leads down some steps into the long kitchen/dining area. The doors at the end of the kitchen pull all the way across so that in the summer the garden becomes part of the kitchen. The garden has a decked area with a bench and table, leading onto a lawn with a pretty tree and plants.

On the 2nd floor are 3 of the bedrooms, 1 double and 2 singles (altho one of the singles is very large and could accommodate a mattress on the floor. On this floor there is also a bathroom, with large bath, walk in shower, basin and toilet.

Further up the stairs to a mezzanine level is an office with a view over London. Further up the stairs is the 4th bedroom which is a double, with ensuite bathroom including shower, basin and toilet, This room also French doors looking over the garden.

We live in a vibrant area called Kensal Rise. Our street leads onto a larger road which is full of bars, food deli's, restaurants, coffee shops, clothes boutiques, antique shops, health food stores etc.. Within a five minute walk you could catch a movie or have ayurvedic massage, eat some grilled haloumi on a bed of rocket, or just have a plain old english pint. This is not a high street but a collection of independent shops all running along side each other to create a great community.

If you want to go further afield you have Kensal Rise Overground train that can take you directly to the heart of fashionable east end in 20 minutes. Alternatively Kensal Green Underground (5 mins walk) that takes you directly to the West End.
