Where is it?

This flat is in Vauxhall which is not on the list of `where in London`. Vauxhall is just across the Thames from Victoria, walking distance from the Houses of Parliament. Vauxhall is a fantastic place to live because it is so central with an excellent integrated transport system virtually on your doorstep. Buses 3 mins walk. Underground to Oxford Street, central shopping area, takes 8 minutes. West End theatres are accessible by bus in 20 minutes. You can walk along the river to the Houses of Parliament and the Tate Britain art gallery. Near water taxi to Tate MOdern and East London. There are fine restaurants across the river in Westminster. Local shops include ethnic/Middle Eastern/Chinese/West African/Portuguese and a large supermarket is 10 minutes walk. South London`s biggest gym is on the corner. Racially, this street is white dominant but many locals are of African, South American and Portuguese origin. Vauxhall is famous for gay nightlife should this be your interest. Parking outside in possession of a Visitor`s Permit.
