About our home

Our house is a 2500 sq ft Victorian Terrace. The home sleep up to 9 and offers a stylish and sophisticated central base from which to explore all of London. We designed the house to be fun and child-friendly (robust!) but with an eye to stylish entertaining and relaxation for the adults.

The two master bedrooms have huge, super king beds and ensuite wetrooms, and the other two bedrooms are both doubles and share a large family bathroom. There is also a pretty guest loo on the ground floor and a separate utility room with Miele applicances and butler's sink.

The highlight of the house are the 3 reception rooms on the ground floor which include a huge open plan kitchen and dining room, perfect for family living. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with in-built appliances and a hidden pantry. There is a central island for informal dining as well as an antique French Refractory table that will sit 12 for dinner. Or you could cozy on down on the sofa and keep the cook company while the kids play in comfort on the heated floor. If you are entertaining, there is a secret sliding door so the little nippers can sleep upstairs in peace while you enjoy yourselves. In addition to this bright and welcoming space you will find a TV room with comfy sofa, library of books and 48 inch TV with SKY and Netflix. Beyond this is a stylish, more formal living room perfect for relaxation or entertaining. And of course an unusually large garden for London which has been landscaped and looks beautiful lit up in the evenings through the glass doors.

The great thing about the area we live in is that there is lots to see and do right on your doorstep but you are well placed to access just about any part of London, from various shopping destinations to the tourist sights and museums. While our street is leafy and pleasant, the local area is buzzing with lots of restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bars and shops as well as a local Sunday Farmers' Market. And of course Queen's Park itself is at the end of the road with tennis courts, a 9 hole pitch and put, terrific playground, sandpit and paddling pool. At the same time, you are only 10 minutes away by bus from the boutiques of Notting Hill or the bright lights of Westfield, one of Europe's largest shopping centres. Other transport links include the underground to Oxford street in 20 minutes or overground to the hipster scene of east London or south to Richmond and the Botanical Gardens of Kew.
