About our home

Our beautiful, light, airy, cosy family home retains its Victorian charm whilst incorporating every modern comfort. With open fires (child-proofed!) and a landscaped garden it's perfect for any season. Two bedrooms are comfortable doubles, one has a cot-bed which could easily be replaced by a double. This is a loved, lived-in, but well looked after family home. It's safe and fun for kids, but retains a refined, adult atmosphere when they're tucked up in bed. We have a modern set up with 40" plasma, cable TV and wifi throughout.

In the heart of Stoke Newington with its village atmosphere and plentiful cafes, bars, pubs, boutiques, art studios and huge park, it's perfect for families, friends or couples. Stoke Newington is one of the few places left in London described as having a 'village feel'. Local shops and businesses dominate and community spirit still reigns! The huge park with listed building and art gallery has its own little zoo and huge playground as well as tennis-courts and beautiful ponds - perfect for sun-bathing, autumn walks or letting off steam.

If you do want to leave the local area, it's very easy to head straight into Central London. There's plenty of public transport to get to all tourist sites - just a 35 minute bus-ride into West End or South Bank/Thames. Buzzy Islington, Shoreditch and Brick Lane are a short walk or bus-ride away. The Olympic Park is just 10 minutes away.
