“Me and my wife had a lovely stay in Jackie\'s home in June 2017. Although the location of the house is not in the centre of the city, it\'s perfectly connected to the main areas with metro and bus. And another plus point is that Jackie\'s neighbourhood is very quiet, so it\'s like living in the city but without the noise of it! The house is also very welcoming and clean: we definitely recommmend her place to explore London and other places nearby! We have been to Windsor and Brighton as well!”

Jackie's reviews
As a host (3)“We have had a splendid stay in Jackie's house in Leytonstone, which is a pleasant district from where you can reach London City in a short time. Jackie has a very nice garden and a big kitchen/dining room where we stayed plenty of time. Our best recommendations. Helle and Steen from Denmark”
“We had a great time in your house, combining our travels by tube to the centre of the city, visiting exhibitions e.g. and returning , 10 minutes walk from Leytonstone tube station to a quiet retreat with a lovely garden! Jackie's house has all the facilities you would want, and also a good supermarket within walking distance. thanks a lot! Highly recommended Martina and Fritz”

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
Leytonstone is a vibrant urban area with easy access to both Central London and local green spaces. There is a high street close by with a variety of cafes, shops, pubs, take aways and restaurants and a large supermarket.
Only a short walk from the house is Hollow Ponds, a large open green space that is part of Epping Forest and provides a boating lake, bike and walking trails. Also within easy reach are parks, playgrounds, tennis courts, horse riding, swimming and ice skating.
Because of excellent public transport nearby most of London can be reached easily. The underground station is 8 minutes’ walk away and there are also local train and bus links which make exploring further afield easy. Tube trains run until the early hours of the morning and all night at weekends.
Only 10 minutes away is the site for the Olympic games in 2012; the aquatics and velo centres and the park are now open for public use. Westfield Shopping Centre is near the Olympic site and is the biggest mall in Europe. There are a number of cinemas in the area and an excellent theatre.
There are loads of great markets easily accessible by public transport (Brick Lane, Petticoat Lane, Spitalfields and Columbia Road Flower market).
