About our home

**happy 2014!** i've asked homeswap a few times to put my apartment on hold while some domestic stuff takes place (repainting the common areas and a few updates in my own place) but the ad seems to remain, I have also been unable to respond to anyone. Sincere apologies, and I will renew as soon as things look even better!

WHAT IS IT? My apartment is the 1st (US 2nd) floor of a converted house built in 1888. AND WHERE IS IT? It's in Belgravia, a 4 minute walk from Sloane Square/7 from Victoria which will connect you with anywhere you need - though by foot: Buckingham Palace (10-15min) Piccadilly Circus by way of Green Park (30min) British Museum (40) South Kensington and V&A about 20min walk. Hyde Park 15-20min walk! I'm adjacent to Pimlico Road and the fine antique shops.
WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? In one of two good size bedrooms with really comfortable (real) double beds! Both bedrooms are at the back of the property with huge windows are really quiet. WHAT ABOUT THE BATHROOM? The en-suite has a bath, the second is a shower room and both have toilets. CAN I COOK THERE? Sure. The kitchen is equipped with the stuff you need starting with a reliable coffee machine. Under counter fridge, gas hob/electric oven, microwave, toaster, washing machine, dish washer. WHERE DO I SIT ? In the living room. It's fairly classic in furnishing, with large windows. Look at the pics. IS IT SAFE AROUND THERE? Yes. Like anywhere be careful but even though all the Big Venues of London are close by it has a village feel.
ARE THERE RESTAURANTS NEAR BY? There are dozens of good restaurants within minutes and a huge variety of foods. Starbucks is 1 min walk and the same minute walk leads to Mozart Square where there is a great farmer's market on Saturday. WHAT'S THE CATCH? None to speak of though there is no TV. (I get caught up in my stories and then nothing ever gets done.) There is wifi and it is reliable and strong.

WHERE DO I WANT TO GO? NY (Manhattan) Maine Vermont Oregon Washington
Om ni kommer från Sverige, jag ville gärne bor i Stockholm!
WHEN and HOW LONG? Flexible and often and several weeks at a time
