About our home

Comfortable terrace house in pleasant family neighbourhood, with quick and easy access to central London. Hall and spacious living room on the ground floor, with an open-plan kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is modern and open plan with stone work surfaces and all appliances.
On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms: master bedroom with double bed, second bedroom with bunk beds, and third guest bedroom. Modern bathroom with bath/shower on first floor.
The second floor has a spacious double bedroom with an en suite wc and shower. Full central heating throughout.
Enjoy meals or drinks in our lovely garden (patio with table and chairs and kids playhouse) with french doors connecting the patio and kitchen/dining area. We also have many toys, books and DVDs for children.
We have a cat Vasiliy (Basil) - he is very nice, friendly and independant - spend lots of time outdoors, just needs to be fed 2 times a day.

More about us

  1. We are a married couple (Killian is Irish and Masha is Russian) with 20 years old daughter (rarely travelling with us now) and two well behaved smaller children (7 years and 10 years). We are professionals with careers in property and journalism, and share a love of travelling and cultural experience. Our families like to visit us often in London as they can relax in our quiet garden, enjoy the local parks and amenities, yet be in the city centre within 12-14 minutes by train. We have successfully exchanged our home 12 times (Reykjavik, Gent, Provence, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Rome, Nice, Munchen, Strasburg, Hossegor, Barcelona) and absolutely loved each experience!

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

A great location for couples or families looking for somewhere to relax with quick access to central London. We live on a quiet street just 5 minutes walk from Earlsfield train station - regular trains just 12-14 mins to London Waterloo (South Bank, Westminster, London Eye etc). There are numerous pubs and restaurants (Thai, Indian, French, Italian, English, Brazilian, Korean) within a few minutes walk of our house as well as a supermarket, library, cafes and small local shops. Many parks and playgrounds within the immediate area, as well as public swimming pools and tennis courts. If you like castles, the amazing Hampton Court is easily accessible by train. Battersea Park, Richmond Park and Wimbledon Common are all nearby. The lovely countryside of Surrey, Kent and Sussex is accessed by car within 30-40 minutes, whilst the south coast (Brighton etc) can be reached within 1 hour 20 minutes.
