About our home

We're currently looking for swaps during the summer school holidays(July 18th-Sept 6th,) We'd like a swap with a swimming pool, in warm climate and an interesting location.

Also open to nearby weekend breaks- open to suggestions, preference for UK rural locations.

We completed a massive architect designed renovation in March 2012. Its very personally designed and has a sense of humour as I wanted a fun home. Its slap bang in the middle of one of the most vibrant places to be in London, with foodie Clerkenwell, artsy Shoreditch, pubs and clubs galore, Oxford Street closeby, Regent's Canal a 5 min walk away and London Bridge/St Paul closeby. Silicon Roundabout is here (Old Street tube is the closest-6 mins walk) and attracts creatives, media types, city workers and internet startups. Conveniently located between and in easy walking distance of Angle, Barbican, Brick Lane, Clerkenwell, Old Street, Hoxton, Liverpool Street, Spitalfields, and the City of London. Extremely vibrant and will suit people looking for excitement at their doorstep although the flat is strangely peaceful.

The flat is a 2,300 sq/ft warehouse conversion over 3 levels, a mixture of white box modern and original warehouse details including exposed beams and floorboards. The ground floor is an expansive double-height space with a sleek steel mezzanine running through the center.

The flat is well suited to kids, our girls are 5&6. There are a number of parks and swimming pools and other kid friendly activities nearby.

Furnished with modern design classics and unique mid-century modern finds. Eat out at the near limitless restaurants for any budget nearby, including a number of Michelin stars, or enjoy cooking in the well equipped kitchen.

Last minute breaks only to UK destination and possibly Eurostar destinations as its trickier with kids. Uk homeowners- get in touch even if only for a weekend/bank holiday.
