About our home

A gorgeous, sunny 500sq.ft. ground floor flat just 10 minutes walk from some of London's best sights - the London eye, the Southbank, the Tate Modern and Millennium Bridge. We have one bedroom and a sofa that comfortably sleeps an extra one. The flat is really high spec with an amazing power shower over the bath and great little kitchen with a stunning glass vaulted ceiling. We also have a walled, if pretty tiny, patio.

We are so close to everything! Southwark tube station is a 4 minute walk, and from here you can get to Bond Street in 10 minutes if you fancy a bit of shopping. Waterloo is a 10 min walk away and you can virtually get anywhere in London, and the UK from here. Borough market is a 10 minute walk away - it is said to be the best fine food market in the country. You are 10 minutes walk away from the London eye and the Southbank and the Tate Modern. Walk an extra five minutes and you'll be in Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Westinister Place and Big Ben or next to St Pauls Cathedral.

It's a really safe area, and although we are on the ground floor the flat is quiet and secure. I know what people say about London but we walk everywhere at all hours (leave for work before 6am, get home after 10pm) and are 100% comfortable.

There are two of us living here, having just graduated from University - one works in Westminster, in the House of Commons as a political researcher and the other is an investment banker in the City.
