About our home

We have a modern house, which was built in the 80's, with a new kitchen extension finished only last year. The downstairs of the house is particularly lovely; an open plan kitchen & living room has bi-folding doors that open on to the garden. Our home is full of photography/art books and weird and wonderful objects from our travels. There are 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, one with shower and one with shower/bath. Currently two double bedrooms, one baby/kids room, and an office that can easily fit another single bed if required. The estate is very quiet, and we live at the top of a hill so the views further along our street are wonderful, especially in the evening. Crouch End is a 2 min walk down the hill, and is a very social area with a village feel; there are lots of shops, organic cafes/restaurants, and 2 art house cinemas. Were also close to Alexandra Palace, and the Parkland Walk, a nature reserve with a park at one end and a woodland at the other, runs past our house. Were close to both overground and underground stations, Crouch Hill, Haringey, and Finsbury Park. Kings Cross is 2 stops, Oxford Circus 5 on the underground, and Old St is 4 stops on the overground. We have a one year old son Atticus, so there's plenty of toys and one cat, Mogman, who is very friendly and low maintenance, feeding and some stroking required.

Where is it?

We live at the top of Crouch hill, which is a lovely, we feel when living in a city. Its very quiet, and close to the Parkland Walk, which is a 2.5-mile linear green walkway, which follows the course of the railway line that used to run between Finsbury Park and Alexandra Palace, through Stroud Green, Crouch End, Highgate and Muswell Hill. Were close to Finsbury Park (great for public transport) and Crouch End, closer to Crouch End, which is small and busy village and has everything needed at a stones throw, including cafes, parks, cinema, restaurants, shops, bars etc.
