About our home

Our stunning home was built in 1918 sleeps up to 10 people and was first occupied by The Short brothers the founders of the aviation business. Even though it is full of history I recently modernised the house and now it's a mixture of original features & modern fittings. I am a rug designer ( The back garden stretches to almost 200 feet and has a sunken trampoline, fantastic for kids and BBQs on the terrace. The master suit is designed as a luxury hotel suite with double shower/steam room, huge bath, dressing area super king size Balinese 4 poster bed and large south-facing balcony looking over London. We are at the top of a hill - almost the highest point in London. Its fantastic for cycling with Hampstead Heath/Kenwood and Primrose Hill close by. I also love cycling to central London and can get to Bond Street in 20 minutes. We have a large garage with lots of bikes for different age groups.

More about us

  1. I am a designer with 2 daughters aged 11 and 14 years old

  2. I design modern rugs - and love to travel but also adore my home and the surrounding areas. It is quiet and in a very friendly safe neighbourhood but close to the buzz of the centre of London and the parts of London that once were villages such as Hampstead and Primrose Hill.

  3. I love design - our home is a mixture of old & new with loads of space - close to Hampstead and its cosy cafes, wonderful shops and historic buildings. Enjoy a piping hot crepe served on
