About our home

The apartment is situated on a classic London street over the 2nd and 3rd floor of a modern Victorian Terraced house. We are well located 5 minutes from a London Underground train and tube station (15 mins to Oxford Street, Central London) for getting into central London to visit the sights and places of interest in the city.

We also have excellent local amenities. There are great cafes, restaurants, pubs, a super market and independent greengrocers for food shopping and also hair salons, barbers and the long standing New Beacon bookshop all located along Stroud Green Road and the surrounding area.

This is the kind of urban apartment to stay in if you are the kind of traveller who likes to slip into the culture and live in the city, with the bonus of being able to visit places you haven't seen before. Camden market is a bus ride away, Spitalfields Market and Brick Lane is a tube ride away and it doesn't take long to get along to the museums in Kensington or shopping in Oxford Street and Bond Street. If coming from abroad there's lots to do in London and the local area for all budgets.

The flat is usually occupied by the host and two friendly cats. As well as swaps for up to 3 months, one double room is available for rental to a single female or male. Professional, student or traveller. Ideally, friendly, independent, tidy and respectful.
