About our home

This is a 2 bedroom apartment in the centre of London. It is double-glazed and centrally heated with good security and high speed wifi. There is no air conditioning so can get warm in the summer. A double bed in the main bedroom and a fold down futon in the study/second bedroom means it is ideal for a couple or 2 single people - 2 couples max though the futon is small for a couple leaving little space left for luggage. It is not suitable for children. One bathroom with shower and toilet and another separate toilet. Balcony with garden. Small kitchen with all amenities that opens on to a compact lounge and dining area, all of which overlook Charing Cross Road and the tree tops of Soho Square. Walk outside the front door straight into the Westend. Ten mins by taxi to all train stations taking you throughout the UK and 2 hours 20 to Paris on Eurostar., 3.5 hours direct to Amsterdam by train. Professionally cleaned each week and lockbox entry available.

Features

More about us

  1. We are a semi retired professional couple and love to travel. Into art and music, cities and the countryside as well as snorkelling. A Kiwi and an American, we like to get to New Zealand and California annually as well as regular trips to other European cities and exploring other countries/continents. We can certainly provide lots of information and general support to ensure your time in London is superb, including early bookings and special event info etc. We are open to long term swaps and a car is an added bonus. Though we don’t have a car in London.

  2. Speaking several European languages, we have done numerous successful swaps all around the world.

  3. We love travel, music, and art and great food.

As well, 5-10 mins walk to the British Museum, Covent Garden, Bloomsbury, Leicester and Trafalgar Squares, not to mention minutes to the restaurants and jazz clubs of Soho and the shopping on Oxford St. Buckingham Palace and St James Park just 20 mins walk away.
