About our home

Our lovely home is perfect for anyone who wants the best of both worlds in London. The peace and quiet of being a 2 minute walk from Springfield Park and the Lee valley marshes which is a nature reserve. The park and surrounding area offers tennis courts, table tennis, rowing, kayaking, canoeing, ice-skating, horse riding and some lovely cafes for brunch or coffee and cake along the canal by the characterful river boats & on top of the hill in Springfield Park with a view over the marshes.

All of this while also being 25- 35 mins door to door to Oxford Circus in the centre of London via the Victoria Line at Seven Sisters or Finsburys Park tube stations. Manor House tube station on the Piccadilly Line and South Tottenham on the DLR are also within 5-10 mins from the property. Manor House and Finsbury Park 5- 10 mins west on the 253 or 254 bus. Seven Sisters and South Tottenham are a 10 min walk or 5 min bus journey north on the 243, 76, 149, 476, 318, 349 buses. All buses run from Stamford Hill Broadway just around the corner from the flat.

This is a really lovely part of London to hang out without even needing to visit the city centre. There are many places to eat out (pretty much any cuisine you can think of) and also a great range of places to have a drink, anything from an ale to a cocktail all a 10 minute walk away in the pretty village atmosphere of Stoke Newington Church Street and on through Stoke Newington High street which runs south connecting up with Dalston (diverse, artistic and popular for a night out) and Shoreditch ( up market and trendy). Dalston 10 mins south by bus (149, 243, 76, 67). Shoreditch 20 mins south by bus. Islington, 25-35 mins away south by bus (73 or 476), is another great place to shop eat and drink in north London.

The property also has a fully insulated and double glazed home office cabin at the end of the garden equipped with ethernet cable, printer, electrical sockets, futon, vinyl record player and a view of the pond. So you can make yourself a cappuccino and take a walk through the flowers & veggie patch (which you're welcome to pick from) on your way if you have to work during your stay.

The flat itself is fully equipped with Washing machine, Gas cooker/oven, Coffee machine, Fridge, Freezer, Flat screen T.V & DVD player (plus DVD collection), Vinyl record player with connection for iPod/Laptop to speakers, Combi boiler heating system, Newly refurbished Bathroom with Bath/Shower, Newly fitted wooden floor throughout Living/Dining room and corridor, double sized sofa bed, Newly restored period fireplace (ornamental only), separate doors leading from Kitchen & Bedroom out onto garden seating area, Herb garden just outside kitchen door and a garden full of local birds, squirrels & geese flying overhead to the nature reserve what more could you want?!

If you do want or need anything else please get in touch and we will endeavour to find it for you : )
